Frequently Asked Questions

  • Please use the contact form on this website, email, or text. I prefer emails because I am usually in sessions with clients for most of the day, and I am unable to answer my phone. My email is kailanimorse@gmail.com

  • Initial appointments (75-90 minutes) - $175

    Individual appointments (50-55 minutes) - $150

  • I only accept BlueCross BlueShield and Aetna. I do not accept other insurances at this time.

I can offer documentation “superbills” for out-of-network reimbursement for traditional therapy sessions. I encourage you to call the phone number on the back of your health insurance card to inquire about out-of-network benefits. Often my clients are able to be reimbursed for a portion of the cost of weekly therapy.

  • I specialize in working with women's health concerns and perinatal mental health (prenatal, postpartum, infertility, grief and loss). While these are my specialities, I also work with folks who are experiencing difficult life transitions and would like support from a therapist.

  • While therapy should be a time to focus on yourself, I understand that getting childcare can be difficult right now. I offer telehealth sessions and walk & talk sessions where your baby can tag along. In-office sessions can be tough in a shared office, but we will work to find a time that works for both of us (or all 3 of us).

  • You might not like this answer, but it really depends! Each session and each client are unique. However, I know you’re curious especially if this is your first time to counseling!

To get a general sense of an example session, we start out with a check-in from the previous week, address specific goals we created together, incorporate a mindfulness exercise, process emotions that feel stuck or urgent, and ensure that you have the support you need to go into the next week.

  • I purposefully see only a limited number of clients per week so that I can provide safe, intentional, and quality care. The most impactful aspect therapy is the relationship between the client and counselor. In my office, you are more than just a number on a caseload - you’re a human. I value our relationship and encourage open communication about how you are feeling about therapy throughout the entire process.
